It’s in German, I know. And yes, the headline is not the best (“the discovery of nonchalance”…good lord, folks…). But the message is clear. Tony Ward is a true role model, at least for me, because, I admire not only his remarkable attraction (and this after such a parforce run through life!). I worship most of all the modest consistency with which he lived his life.

He didn’t give, eventually and pretty fast, a blasted shit on all of that glamour blabla and allegedly VIP and stuff.

He had to feed a wife and three kids and that was the most important thought in his life, he realized finally. And so he did not blush to work as a bloody normal construction worker for example, despite of his former supermodel-career.

I like people like that.

And so it’s a kind of late but very deserved reward to start a second career as a mature male model. Great! Because with his 51 he looks better than some of the hyperstylished young “super”models of our days. Actually I might become very jealous about that fact. :-)

Anyway, Mr. Ward is incidentally a remarkable artist and painter! Check it out: http://tony-ward.com/artshop/catalogue.html .

Whatever, I’m now heading to the last concert of a colleague and his little band before he leaves Germany indefinitely towards South America. :-(

Nevermind. Nice eve to you all!

though i don’t like his music, neither his own, nor with his sister, but i like him. he’s a really nice guy. actually no wonder, because he’s a true aussie. but he’s just too handsome to be true, right? and needless to say something about his eyes color or what… i’m definitely a hopeless case…

People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.

A true soul mate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave.

A soul mates purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so desperate and out of control that you have to transform your life, then introduce you to your spiritual master…

i hate to say farewell. although i know that we have to do it. although one of my life motto is that we take every day farewell of anything, without knowing it. and this is o.k., somehow.

but there are farewells, where you can feel that it is a kind of premonition of life, a reminder of where the cloakroom with your overcoat is.

today was such a farewell again.

i had forgotten how exhausting it can be.

good night.
